Nat Shack brings north of the border Cal-Mex cooking to the Last Frontier, in Valdez Alaska - a fishing town nestled in the rugged mountains in Prince William Sound.
Bold Flavors
Old Favorites
Historically, Cal-Mex food emerged as cultural influences introduced new ingredients to the typical Mexican fare. The Nat Shack is located far north of that original crossing of food cultures, but the three best friends that established the street food restaurant continue to bring that same spirit of originality with fresh, local ingredients. The talented restaurant staff has created a distinct menu of standard fare and vegetarian choices creating bold flavors for old favorites like their signature crunchwraps, local halibut tacos and burritos - all smothered with their homemade salsas and hot sauces.
Nat Shack earned the coveted TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice, Best of the Best Award in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. This accomplishment is the result of hard work but also tremendous support from their patrons from all over Alaska and beyond.
Nat Shack adds spice to the eating experience with great music and relaxed outdoor seating featuring some of the best views Alaska has to offer!
